George R. Badger, RA

A graduate of New York Institute of Technology, Mr. Badger holds a five year Bachelor of Architecture Degree with a minor degree in Interior Design.  He is a registered architect in the State of New York and several others, and as member of the National Council of Architectural Review Boards, has the capability of reciprocity in any state throughout the country.

Having worked with several respected firms during his career, Mr. Badger has accumulated comprehensive knowledge and experience in all phases of commercial, residential, and interior design and development.  He has acted as project manager on a wide variety of projects, including medical treatment and office spaces for South Nassau Communities Hospital, NYU/Winthrop Hospital, motion picture theaters for United Artists, Cineplex Odeon, National Amusements and KB Theaters, several new and renovated banking facilities, restaurants, municipal projects for both the State of New York and the Town of Babylon, and several multi-family residential housing communities.  Most notably Mr. Badger served for three years as Director of Design and Construction for the East Coast for United Artist Theatre Circuit, Inc.

Mr. Badger is Spaces’ founding principal, and is responsible for the majority of Spaces’ commercial design, including all restaurant and medical design exclusively, and their construction documentation and construction administration.  He is responsible for all of the firm’s in-house mechanical, plumbing and electrical design and engineering. In addition, Mr. Badger handles all interior design and interior materials selection and coordination.

Charles Lembo, RA

A graduate of New York Institute of Technology, Mr. Lembo holds a five year Bachelor of Architecture Degree. He is a registered architect in the State of New York.

His previous work includes the management and document production for numerous types and scales of projects, including both new construction and renovations.  This work encompasses motion picture theaters, pharmaceutical, medical and office spaces, multi-family residential complexes, restaurants, industrial complexes, several large retail and office spaces for clients such as Office Depot and Office Max, and facilities for several Fire Districts.

Mr. Lembo is Spaces' Administration Principal and oversees all business related activity, as well staff and consultant coordination.  He has extensive experience in computer aided design and construction documentation, including 2 and 3 dimensional computer drawing and modeling, as well as computer aided photographic presentation.  He is responsible for all of the firm’s residential design and construction documentation, and collaborates on commercial projects as well. He’s responsible for all of the firm’s in-house structural analysis and engineering for both commercial and residential structures, all in-house site and civil engineering, and has a broad knowledge of the Americans with Disabilities Act and its associated legislation.  He is also an expert specialist in flood zone mitigation and disaster recovery, having worked on over 200 disaster recovery projects within his own firm, and as a consultant to other architecture and engineering firms.
